Why we don't change jobs?
Often, employees do not change jobs or positions within the company for a variety of reasons. It can be the fear of losing even an unpleasant place, chronic lack of confidence that the management will listen to your request, feeling that you might not do an excellent job in a new place, or simple human shyness to request what you deserve.
The software development and engineering industry actively grows and has tremendous opportunities to realize one's potential, so just think: you studied, obtained, and consolidated your knowledge with experience, improved your skills, worked a lot, and maybe even made a technological breakthrough.
Isn't this a reason to think about promotion and put your fears aside? And if you doubted that it was time to change something, consider that this is a sign.
